Camino FINISTERRE - MUXÍA

From Finisterre to Muxía
The Camino Finisterre-Muxía is a peaceful walk along the Atlantic coast. It connects two important pilgrimage sites: Finisterre and Muxía. This route is a perfect way to continue your journey after reaching Finisterre.

Highlights
The path passes through forests, farmland, and small villages. A key stop is Lires, a quiet village halfway along the route. As you get closer to Muxía, the landscape changes. You will see stunning ocean views and rocky cliffs. The journey ends at the Sanctuary of Virgen de la Barca, a famous seaside church linked to old legends.

Who should walk this?
This route is great for pilgrims looking for a quiet and reflective experience. It is less crowded than other Camino paths. The terrain is varied but not too difficult, with a mix of inland trails and coastal roads. Reaching Muxía feels like a special and symbolic ending to the Camino.
